The Center for Women Library got a Makeover!

by Camille Hankins, 13C

Center for Women LibraryThis year I have made it my project to overhaul our library. I’ve been working at the Center for three years, and the library has never gotten as much use as I feel like it deserves. Our collection includes important feminist works, Emory Herstory, helpful nonfiction books, and many novels by women writers or about women’s and gender issues.

All of these fantastic books are now cataloged, and the list is available for you to view online right here, right now.

Take a look at the list, and if you see a book you’ve been wanting to read, stop by to check it out from our new and improved library.

Students—are you in a class about women’s issues? Many books in our library are assigned as textbooks for classes. Consider borrowing from us instead of buying from the bookstore—you’ll save money and keep an unused book out of a landfill.
