Mummy Collaborations

Much has been written about the tremendous conservation efforts involved in restoring the Old Kingdom mummy at the Carlos Museum (see the Emory Report article for starters and links).

One amazing detail that stands out is the amount of collaboration that took place behind the scenes — especially involving College faculty and students (see list below).

We should also point out that the College was involved in producing a video about the mummy conservation that plays in the exhibition (and on YouTube). And that fine soundtrack was the handiwork of Jazz Studies Director Gary Motley.
